Grand Trunk A, the first instalment of the Grand Trunk collection truly establishes this series as some of the finest furnished apartments in Toronto. With an open living area, this fully furnished unit fuses style and function for a fabulous set-up providing superior comfort. Features include: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, balcony, hardwood floors throughout the living area and a breathtaking view of the CN Tower and Rogers Center which is sure to please.

The master bedroom features a king sized mattress and en-suite bathroom. For superior privacy and comfort, a flat screen TV is located in the bedroom as an added benefit.

The second bedroom features a queen-sized mattress with a bathroom located steps away. For corporate sharing this maintains privacy, allowing both guests to have their own separate bathrooms.

The open living space features quality furnishings, including a couch, flat screen TV, dining area for four and a work area. The walkout balcony, located off of the dining area, features an excellent view of the Toronto skyline. The kitchen comes fully equipped with cups, plates, bowls, pots, pans, cutlery, a blender/food processor and a coffee machine. An oven, stovetop and microwave are also provided, as well as a full sized washer and dryer, which are located in the closet

The Neighborhood

Located in the newest part of the south core district lies our short term fully furnished suites at Grand Trunk. The location features extremely close proximity to tourist attractions and main business centres alike. From our suites at Grand Trunk, guests can walk to Union station, the Air Canada Centre, CN Tower, Roundhouse Park, the Waterfront and many more points of interest, all in less than 5 minutes.

Once at Union Station, guests can access nearly anywhere in the city or GTA through numerous public transportation channels such as the TTC (Toronto Transit Commission), GO Transit, VIA Rail and more. For guests not going far or don’t need the public transit, the suites at Grand Trunk Crescent feature a walk score of 95/100. This means that for all daily activities, such as getting to and from work, or errands and entertainment, you don’t need a car; everything you need is just a short walk away.

Directly across the street from our furnished condos at Grand Trunk Crescent is Roundhouse Park, one of the most popular parks in the area. This 17 acre park is a historic public area that has been built and maintained on what used to be Toronto’s railway lands. This site features a collection of vintage trains, train cars, the Toronto Railway Museum, and Steam Whistle Brewery. Originally built in 1931 for the Canadian Pacific Railway, this round house was used up until 1986 when the railway donated the land and structure to the city of Toronto. The railway museum in the park features a mini railroad system that takes visitors around the park and into the museum.

The Roundhouse Park is also home to the Steam Whistle Brewing Company, a local brewery that has been operating from the roundhouse since the year 2000. The brewery hosts multiple daily tours of the facilities, giving guests a unique firsthand look at the inside of the historical site and a unique beer making process.

The Building

Grand Trunk A amenities are located on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Our extended stay guests can enjoy the use of modern cardio machines and ellipticals in the gym. The gym also has a number of resistance machines and free weights.

Located below the gym is a 25-foot indoor pool. Whether you’re bringing your family or you’re a swimming enthusiast, enjoyment is guaranteed. Also located on the second floor is an enclosed courtyard, perfect for reading or enjoying the sun. The building also has a 24-hour security desk for peace of mind during your stay.
