The Festival Tower extended stay Toronto suite is located at the corner of King and John Street in the heart of downtown. This two-bedroom furnished apartment is a generous 1,118 square feet, including a balcony with a view of the lake. With high-end Miele appliances, real hardwood floors and sophisticated layout, this corporate apartment is perfect for discerning clientele looking to immerse themselves in Toronto’s budding film culture.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with contemporary panelled wood veneer cabinetry and stainless steel hardware, quartz counter-tops, split freezer and refrigerator, electric stove top, oven and microwave oven. The cupboards are filled with dishes and cutlery as well as cooking utensils and glassware. The kitchen island visually separates the open concept kitchen from the living room and provides extra under-counter storage.

The dining area is located just off the main living room and includes a round glass top table complete with a stunning set of four red leather chairs. A pendant lamp located above the table provides the dining are with spot lighting during supper.
The living room seating area features a large black leather couch, a matching leather chair, a rectangular glass coffee table and a geometric print area rug. The large flat screen TV located in the living room comes with Rogers VIP cable programs included in the rent. Two floor-to-ceiling windows of this corner apartment bathe the living room in natural light and let corporate guests enjoy a dramatic view of the city and Lake Ontario. There is an access to the spacious balcony from the living room.

The luxurious master bedroom has a king-size bed and is furnished with matching night-stands and bedside lamps. The soft grey and beige interior with white details creates a calming relaxing space. The bedroom has a large closet with plenty of shelving storage. The second bedroom features a queen-size bed with a night-stand and a spacious closet located behind sliding mirror doors. A section of the bedroom is dedicated to a workspace that houses a small desk with a lamp and a stylish clear plastic chair. The workspace is located at the sunny corner of two windows, giving an illusion of floating midair above the city.

There are two bathrooms in the apartment: one located just off the common area and the other, an en-suite to the master bedroom. Both luxurious spa-inspired bathrooms feature modern rectangular sinks with quartz counter-tops, glass door shower enclosure with waterproof pot-lights and natural quarts floor tile. Fresh towels are included. For guests’ convenience there is a stacked washer and dryer located in utility closet.

The Neighbourhood

The Festival Tower is located right in the heart of Toronto’s Entertainment District, surrounded by many of Toronto’s famous entertainment venues, clubs and restaurants. The building itself is home to the TIFF Bell Lightbox, the Film Reference Library and the many events and exhibits it plays hosts year round.

Only steps down the street is the Roy Thompson Hall, home to the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Alexandra Theatre and Princess of Wales Theatre as well as The Second City improv club.

Festival Tower is situated a short walk away from The Union Station which is a major transportation hub for TTC, GO Transit and VIA Rail. Gardiner Expressway is conveniently located just outside the complex and gives guests fast access to the suburbs and nearby cities. 504 King Street and 510 Spadina are just a few of major streetcar routes available in the area, providing guests with flexible travel options within downtown Toronto.

The Building

True to its nature, Festival Tower is the only condominium residence in Canada with a fully equipped state-of-the-art 55-seat cinema that is used by the Toronto International Film Festival Group for screening. Adjacent to the theatre is the Cinema lounge, complete with catering kitchen and concession stand.

Festival Tower boasts a rooftop terrace, where guests will enjoy a magnificent view of the city while relaxing and socializing. There is also a sports lounge and media and TV lounge available to the residents, as well as fully equipped meeting room and guest suites available for booking.
