The Empire A furnished apartment is a cost effective approach to those looking for extra sleeping accommodations without the price of a full two bedroom condo. A fully enclosed den with a queen sized bed and frosted glass windows for privacy acts as a perfect second bedroom. This is a furnished corporate housing suite where up to four people can be comfortably accommodated for the price of two!
The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and tub combo. The master bathroom is relatively spacious for a condo. All linens for the bedroom and towels for the bathroom are provided. To further facilitate up to four guests, the apartment also has an additional full sized bathroom off of the foyer. This furnished condo is great for families and perfect for corporate sharing.
The kitchen features full-sized appliances and has plenty of counter space. All kitchen utensils, plates, pots and pans, and small kitchen appliances are provided. In a closet just off of the foyer, there is a full sized clothes washer and dryer.
In the main living area, there is laminate flooring throughout and access to the large balcony. A quiet north view can be enjoyed from this suite. A dining table for four is provided, as well as a comfortable couch (which has a pullout bed) and a flat screen TV. The Neighborhood
Conveniently located just off Highway 401 at Bayview Avenue, our short term rental furnished apartment at Empire is the ideal location for those who want accessibility and a great location. At the meeting point of Bayview and Sheppard, The Empire is well connected to all major east-west and north-south routes, allowing our guests to get nearly anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area quickly. The Bayview Subway stationis a mere 5 minute walk away, connecting guests with Scarborough, downtown Toronto and East York.
For day to day shopping and errands, the Empire is conveniently located right across the road from the Bayview Village Shopping Centre, arguably the most posh mall in the entire city. Just about everything our guests need for everyday errands can be found in Bayview Village including Loblaws and Pusateris grocery stores, coffee shops, banks, restaurants (including an Oliver & Bonacini), and more.
The Empire is also a short 5 minute drive to North York General hospital and a 10 minute drive to Sunnybrook hospital. For students, our Empire furnished condos are located a 20 minutes drive from York University and a 40 minute subway ride to University of Toronto and Ryerson University.
The Building
The Empire building is elegantly designed with porte-cochere doors at the main entrance for kiss and ride pick up. The lobby in the Empire features limestone floors, cornice moldings and a gorgeous fireplace which is a great area to wait in while picking up your guests from the main floor, especially during the winter time.
For golf lovers, there is a golf simulator in the amenities area which will allow you to get some swings in and keep your game in check through the winter. There is also an European-style spa, media room and billiards room. As well, the Empire has an exercise area equipped with all modern cardio machines (step machines, stationary bicycles, treadmills) and free weights.
For our corporate furnished apartments guests that enjoy swimming, there is an indoor pool (accessible all year long) located on the amenities floor.
