What is the difference between SkyViewSuites furnished housing and a hotel?

SkyViewSuites is significantly less expensive than a comparable hotel option, while offering you a full kitchen, en-suite laundry and a range of other services at no extra cost in order to make you feel at home.

What is included in SkyViewSuites corporate apartment?

Think about what you have at home, and you'll find those items in your SkyViewSuites apartment! We provide fully furnished apartments with all the household items that you require. Linens, towels, dishware, cutlery are all included. Guests only need to bring their own personal items.

All utilities, cable TV, local phone, hi-speed internet, parking and bi-weekly maid services are included in the monthly rates. A flat-screen TV and DVD player are standard in every furnished apartment.

Are there any additional charges or fees?

Aside from your quoted monthly rate, there are no additional taxes or surcharges. However, additional services, such as extra cleaning services, bed / crib rentals and storage services are available for a fee.

What is the minimum length of stay?

The minimum length of stay is 30 days.

What if I am not sure how long I will stay?

SkyViewSuites can accommodate flexible arrangements, subject to a 30 day minimum. Beyond the 30 day minimum, the monthly rates will be pro-rated accordingly. If you are unsure of how long you will be staying, SkyViewSuites can repeatedly extend your occupancy with a minimum of 30 days notice from you.

What amenities are offered at your furnished apartments?

Amenities vary by furnished apartment, but most properties have access to amenities that you would find at a four or five star hotel, including fitness facilities, swimming pools, business centers and meeting rooms. Most furnished suites are also within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants and entertainment. If you have any specific amenities you’d like to have access to during your stay, please inquire in advance of finalizing your booking.

What do I need to do to reserve a furnished suite?

SkyViewSuites will require a deposit of $500 in order to reserve your suite. This deposit will also serve as your Damage Deposit for the unit and will be returned to you at the end of your stay (assuming no damages to the rented suite).

What size apartments do you have available?

Toronto Furnished Rentals offers apartments that range in sizes. One and two bedroom apartments are widely available, but we also offer some apartments that are studio/bachelors or have three bedrooms. Average floor plans measure:

450-550 sq. ft. for studio apartments
600-1100 sq. ft. for one-bedroom apartments
700-1300 sq. ft. for two-bedroom apartments
1200-1500 sq. ft. for three-bedroom apartments

How do I pay?

For the initial deposit necessary to book your furnished suite, we accept certified cheques, money orders, VISA, Mastercard and Paypal. Please note that transactions made via credit card or paypal may result in additional service charges.

For ongoing rental payments, we accept personal cheques in addition to all of the methods mentioned above.

Corporate Housing clients can also pay via company cheque for all of their corporate housing stays with SkyViewSuites. Corporate housing guests can make arrangements have their company billed directly, or an invoice can be submitted for all company employees staying with SkyViewSuites for payment to make the process more convenient! The standard payment term is once per month.

When do I need to make the payments?

All monthly fees are due on or before the first day of each month. If you are not arriving on the first of the month, SkyView Suites will pro-rate your first month's fees accordingly. Furthermore, if you are staying 2 or more months, Sky View Suites will require first AND last month's rent upon arrival.

Does SkyViewSuites accept payment in US dollars?

Sky View Suites will accept payment in $US, however, please note that all of our prices are in $CAD. Any $US payments and deposit returns will be adjusted based on exchange rate fluctuations.

Is smoking permitted?

Smoking is not permitted. For suites that have a terrace or balcony, smoking may be permitted on the terrace / balcony. Please contact us directly to inquire about the availability of balcony/terrace suites.

Are pets permitted?

Most of our suites do not allow pets. Please contact us directly to inquire about the availability of pet-friendly suites.

What if I have overnight visitors?

If you are having family or friends stay overnight, SkyViewSuites can provide you with full-size portable beds to accommodate your guests (subject to fees and availability).
